Vehicle History:
The master of Italian design, Giorgetto Giugiaro, drew the first mid-engine road sports car for Maserati, which today is a sculpture. Planned as an answer to cars such as Ferrari 365 BB or Lamborghini Miura, the Bora, as well as its smaller brother Merak at the beginning of the 70s saved the survival of the company Maserati, a company which changed hands several times. From the liaison with Citroën at the time of the development of the Bora comes, among other things, the very sensitive brake system, a feature that Bora drivers would not want to miss.
This Bora, like all 4900s, was delivered to the USA, more precisely to Texas to Mr. Robert Kleinberg. In 1990 the car came to Europe. A short time later a doctor from Frankfurt bought the Maserati. It was him who had it rebuilt in 1996 at Candini in Modena into the European, much more attractive, look and in the year 2000 he also had the engine and the technology revised there. Since 2014, the very well-preserved Bora is in the recent ownership. The recent owner also maintained it carefully. A well-documented Bora in excellent condition and a good investment.
