Seller's comments about 1969' MG MGC

Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 totalled over 500, 000 cars, of which only 2, 030 were MG C’s built for the UK market and only around 400 appear to still be registered.This MG C was first registered on the 19th March 1969 in Reading, more recently it has spent a number of years in West Sussex.The engine runs very well and has a number of period modifications, there is evidence in the history file of a rebuild and has been fitted with a high lift cam and triple Weber carburettors, together with other performance enhancements.The drivetrain has also been rebuilt and we’re told to a higher ratio specification, there are no nasty noises and the overdrive is working correctly. The car handles fabulously, and has uprated suspension as well as new tyres all round.The body is very solid with no corrosion to the underside. The car was highly restored and was likely a concours job.
