BEING SOLD WITH TITLE Beige Exterior with Cream Leather Interior Buick V6 3800 Engine Turbo 350 Automatic Transmission RWD Showing 19,362 Miles Stewart Warner Gauges Pioneer Stereo Front Mustang Disc Brakes Featured on the front cover of the 2003 Southern Rodder magazine, this 1933 Willy Model 77 is a rare example that has been tastefully built to the hotrod you see today! The last time the 33 was registered was in 1961. The original body was restored with the help of Owen Geist from Southaven, MS. The original cloth top section was beginning to show some age so this portion was replaced with the top section of a 1961 Chevy station wagon. The remainder of the bodywork was beautifully completed and painted in a cashmere beige with the compliments of Sherwin Williams. The interior was stitched with a mushroom-colored leather interior by Combs Auto Upholstery in Adamsville, TN. The front seats are from an Opal while the rear seat is from a Toyota pickup truck. The original Willys dash received a custom-fabricated extension with plenty of room to mount the modernized Pioneer head unit. While the body was off of the chassis, it was boxed, plated, and a Mustang II IFS was installed. The crossmembers and supports were updated for a low mileage 1985 Buick V6 3800 engine and a turbo 350 transmission. The engine was dressed up with an Edelbrock intake and carburetor, a stainless steel exhaust system, and a few chrome accessories to finish up the engine compartment. A Chevy S10 pickup truck was chosen as the donor for the differential and rear suspension. Stock mustang shocks were installed in the front and chrome coilovers were installed in the rear. The braking system utilizes 11 Mustang power disc brakes on the front and GM drum brakes for the rear. The Willys has completed several road trips as well as a 900 mile round trip when completed. This classic four door Willys was meticulously built and would make any collector a happy camper, now available for the next owners enjoyment!
