I have decided to sell what records indicate is a very rare car and there is only a handful left. The car was laid up at the beginning of world war 2 by the original owner, who unfortunately died abroad. The car remained hidden until 1986 with only 22,000 miles showing on the speedo and was only rediscovered when his widow die. The speedo is still showing 22,000 miles. The car then passed to a friend of the family who started the restoration work before again parking the car up garaged for a number of years.

I have owned the car since 2011 and during this time I have carried out the following listed work:
Purchased the correct new period cloth wound wiring loom (not yet fitted)
Had all the chrome re-chromed to a high standard
New windscreen rubber
New bonnet tape
New fan belt
New plugs and leads
Five new correct hub caps have been purchased
Brakes overhauled and bled up returning an excellent pedal.
Correct period absorbors and links overhauled

As the engine was overhauled with new pistons rings by the previous owner, after inspecting the work, we have had the engine running, which shown excellent oil pressure etc.
The engine now only needs running in once the car is back on the road.

I have all the relevant receipts for the parts I have purchased and great effort as been made to only purchased the correct parts.

The interior is the remaining part which requires the final part of the restoration and then final assembly. The car comes with a V5C showing the original number (not transferable), also a certificate of authenticity.

It will make a very worth while restoration of a very, very rear classics Morris car.
