It doesnt get much cooler than a street rod 1941 Willys coupe! This curvy classic is powered by a professionally rebuilt 454 CID V8 that is decked and bored .030 over and has a 427 crankshaft and 781 heads. With a Weiand intake, chrome 4-barrel carburetor, Sanderson headers, Pete Jackson timing gear, and HEI distributor, this big block puts down plenty of power. Pop the hood and you will be very impressed with the show quality presentation of the engine. Chrome A/C compressor, chrome alternator, chrome water pump, braided radiator hoses, an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans, polished air cleaner and valve covers, billet brackets, chrome pullies, billet spark plug wire looms and a Purple painted engine block finish off the engine compartment nicely. That big block powerhouse is mated to a Turbo 400 that has been rebuilt and given a TCI shift kit and a Coan 11-inch pro street 3100 stall converter. Power is then sent to a Ford 9 rear end with 3.50 posi gears. 4-wheel power disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power and rack and pinion steering make it easy to cruise in style. Inside you will find Mustang bucket seats, a tilt steering column, Vintage Air controls, an AM/FM/CD player, VDO gauges, Lecarra steering wheel, custom headliner, door panels and center console. The trunk is upholstered to match and hides the fuel filler neck. It also provides storage for the trips to the car show. The underside of this Willys shows well with a purple frame, TCI adjustable chrome coil over shocks on all four corners, a track bar kit and a TCI 4-link setup. Weld Pro Star wheels are wrapped in Mickey Thompson rubber to make sure that power gets to the ground! We have a long parts list for the build with part numbers and names in case something needs replacement down the road.
