Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1937' Alvis Silver Eagle 16/95 Tourer
Silver eagle with a unique history being the last Silver Eagle to leave the factory and it is believed used as a development car. The car has been restored over the last five years to an astonishing standard with its original body.
The car has a VSCC buff log book and documents the originality and continuous Alvis History with Factory build sheets. The restoration has been fully documented and last week was set up on a rolling road after a top-end rebuild that completed the extensive and expensive refurbishment, the engine was showing 70 bhp on test and all aspects of the mechanicals have been overhauled.
The car starts on the button and enjoys its original 4 speed all synchro-box with Triple sand cast SU Carbs and has modern Halogen Conversion lighting for practical reasons. The interior is original and has a wonderful patina that cannot be replicated. The Pram hood stows flat and has a new tonneau and side screens are in good order stored in the boot.
Ready to enjoy having been set up to use under modern conditions with strong cable brakes and classic Hartford Shocked suspension with a modern screw on oil filter for ease of maintenance along with a hidden Kenlowe Fan for cooling even under hot summer conditions.
