Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1947' Armstrong-Siddeley Lancaster
Armstrong Siddeley launched this new saloon car the day the war ended. After a two year delay in June 1947 the car was delivered to its first owner. It then passed to his son who kept it until its 57th year! He made a huge restoration between 1992 and 1996. These bills, large amount of history and documents are available with the car in a 100 page archive book. A second family did much further work between 2004 and 2011. Over £2500 was spent on parts from the Armstrong stores alone- still going and now digitised. From this time the Lancaster was kept in a museum in Devon. After a further brief ownership I purchased the car in 2018. The engine has been removed , inspected and renovated where necessary. All hydraulic tappets have been replaced. After all this work the car runs splendidly. All invoices and descriptions are in the history book. The car is available to view in its specialist garage in Andover by appointment. GDG 384 is probably the best example of this rare post-war classic. There are 100 more professional images available on request to me. THIS LANCASTER IS A HISTORIC VEHICLE AND IS PRICED ACCORDINGLY.
