Comentarios del vendedor sobre 1950' Ford F-1

Lets talk numbers for a minute. We will begin with the number 1, as in, this 1950 F1 is quite possibly the nicest, or 1 of the nicest, pickups on the planet. Of course, a number that substantial has to have quite a few more numbers to back it up. So, how about 2.5? As in, 2.5 years worth of restoration and customization. Next comes 295,000. As in, $295,000 worth of parts, materials, labor and customization. Looking for a world-class showstopper thats above and beyond pretty much anything outside of six-figure corporate builds? Fix your gaze on this incredible custom F1! BODYWORK/TRIM Professionally rehabilitated and customized during a 6-figure, 2.5-year restoration, this striking F1 spent most of its life as a no-frills American workhorse. In what amounted to a systematic, no-expense-spared rebuild, its solid body was completely stripped, hand-altered and layered in a modified coat of PPG Magnetic Metallic Gray 2-stage. Today, the truck rolls as a game changing half-ton thats one part lust and two parts envy! If this Ford is any indication, roughly quarter of a million dollars nets some very impressive attributes. At the front of the truck, a smoothed and painted grille hangs modern headlights beside amber parking lamps. Behind that grille, a shaved hood leads the eye to clear glass, which plants singled side windows between shaved drip rails and Specialty intermittent wipers. Look closely at the top of that glass and youll notice that the trucks glass is streamlined due to the borderless glass. Custom running boards that frame low-profile dual exhaust pipes. Those boards melt into heavily modified fenders that, thanks to fresh wheel openings, are completely centered on the truck axles. ENGINE Hoist the shaved and insulated bonnet and youll find a built Kenne Bell supercharger attached to a 5.4 liters GT500 Engine built by Premiere Automotive, this killer setup puts out 1033 horsepower into 806 lb./ft. of stump-pulling torque! Theres a modern serpentine system that spins a fresh alternator beside a modern AC compressor, and aesthetically, the trucks custom engine compartment is exceptionally well done, featuring first-rate ancillaries like Ride Tech coil covers, Moroso fluid tanks, a fresh brake booster, a billet hood latch and a billet-secured Optima battery. DRIVETRAIN/SUSPENSION One peek under this sweet F1 reveals some of the best work money can buy. First and foremost, a heavily modified TCI Engineering frame is sandwiched between stainless hardware and color-keyed, undercoated floors. Behind the five-four, a TREMEC T56 Magnum 6-Speed, rated for big horsepower, utilizes an Atomic Twin Disc clutch to twist a custom driveshaft. At the end of that driveshaft, a proven custom Currie 9-inch spins a posi-traction differential around smooth 3.25 gears and tough, 35-spline axles. That first rate drivetrain pushes a modern TCI Engineering triangulated four-bar with ride tech coilovers. Tracking is provided by a TCI Engineering Tubular A-arms, which centers Mustang II power rack-and-pinion steering between two more adjustable Ride Tech coil-overs. Braking is equally class, with front Wilwood 12in 6 piston and Wilwood rear 12in 4-piston calipers squeezing a set of drilled and slotted rotors. The Custom stainless headers by Barillaro Speed dumps spent exhaust gases into stainless 3in pipes, which breathe through throaty Kooks mufflers. Theres a stainless fuel tank thats built around an internal fuel pump and power meets the pavement through American Racing VN527, which twist 245/45R18 Nitto NT555 in front of 2305/45R20 Nitto NT555. INTERIOR Pop this Fords doors and youll find a completely custom interior that blends dark metallic grey paint with supple leather trim. Front and center, a tastefully modified dash and seats, classy aviation-style gauges and components for proven Vintage Air climate control panel. The modern GT500 bucket seats stretch tight hides with F-1000 embroidered in the seats. A Tall custom shifter in front of a hand brake. At the bottom of that shifter, black-lit carpet, which rides under color-keyed floor mats and metal foot pedals. At the edges of that carpet, you have tailored door panels with billet handles in front of Specialty power windows. At the top of those windows, a sculpted headliner bridges the gap between a billet mirror and leather cab panels. The driver stays connected to the road through a Ididit tilting column and color-keyed Lecarra wheel.
