Commentaires du vendeur sur 1946' HRG 1100
I am selling the HRG I inherited from my father a few years ago. The car was in good running condition overall although the engine felt quite tired so I took it apart in view to have it rebuilt by a HRG specialist in the UK. Due to essentially a lack of time to get things moving forward I have now decided to part with the car. I have other car projects that I can handle by myself and the Singer-based HRG engine, although a rather more simple device than the more modern engines I usually work on, is just not something I feel comfortable working on. I do not need to sell the car though and perhaps the motivation to get it back running may come back in the future, but at this very point I am just in the mood to sell it and see the car go to a good home where it would be fully restored and perhaps more appreciated by an owner who is really into that kind of car. The car is currently registered in France with a regular 'carte grise'. It comes with a significant service history, past UK TAX discs & MOT certificates, a collection of the HRG club publications and various relevant documents. Built in 1946, the car is one of the last HRG 1100 made. It is green with green leather and black wheels. It features unusual cycle wings, comes with its hood and doors which are relatively rain proof as I found out while driving in adverse weather, and apart from the tired engine everything felt like it worked as it should when it was running. I am not interested in part exchanges and the price is €45k, which is the rough equivalent of £40k as a type this ad. Thanks for your attention.
