Owned since 1983 this matching number UK car was supplied new on 08/03/1939 from Motorspot in Duffield in the West Midlands. According the the MGCC records this makes this one of the last MGTA s produced.
Since coming into the current owners hands it had and engine rebuild by Hamlins Engineering of Bridgwater in 1987 and has done only 25,654 miles since.
New wheels fitted in 2006.
New seat covers from NTG in 2007.
Rebuilt speedo and rev counter in 2007. The mileage on the clock was retained to read the engine mileage since its rebuild.
Repainted by South West Coachworks in 2009
Recent new 6v batteries.
Upgrades include electronic ignition, electric fuel pump and Kenlow cooling fan.
The owner has enjoyed many reliable touring holiday miles in Scotland and had competed on the touring route of the LeJog Historic Rally twice.
