Comentários do vendedor sobre 1950' Chevrolet

PRISTINE is the best word to describe this 1950 Chevrolet Bel Air Hardtop. Pristine per Webster dictionary meaning “immaculate, in mint condition, as new, and unspoiled”. It was originally sold new at Capital Chevrolet on Broadway St., in Denver, and has been in Colorado all of its life. It has been totally restored by the previous owner including interior, chrome, paint, engine, exhaust, and suspension. The glass is perfect with no fogging. All windows roll up and down perfectly. All gauges work properly, as does have the original radio which works. The clock does not seem to work. The odometer shows 1,113 miles as it was reset to zero by Deluxe Speedometer and Radio Service in Denver when repaired at the time of restoration of the car. It is a 6 volt electric system with a virtually, new battery. It has the upgraded Fenton exhaust header for the 216 cubic inch engine which accommodates the dual exhaust. It is a 3 speed, “on the column” shift, transmission. There is absolutely NO RUST on the car. The tires are new (all 5), and the wheels and hubcaps are perfect. It has the original “bumper jack” in the trunk along with spare seat fabric and spare chrome splash guards. The paint is an original color, glistens with a mirror like finish, and the chrome shines as new. The interior is as original with the chrome headliner strips being perfect as are the door panels, seats and floor covering. The engine starts right up, purrs, and does not smoke or leak. It comes with the 1950 owner’s manual. The previous owner now has moderate to advanced dementia and it was hard to trace the entire history of the car, but his daughter indicated that it had been “in the family” ever since she could remember and she is in her late 50’s or early 60’s. They decided to sell the car when a ladder “came off the wall” in the owner’s garage causing a small paint chip on the left rear fender. I have had custom “touch up” paint mixed and applied. It is the only slight blemish on the car. As you probably know, this is the first year for the iconic Chevrolet, “Bel Air” hardtop. In terms of originality, appearance and functions, it does not get much better than this fine example. For over 60 pictures of this beautiful car go to: www.picturetrail.com/sfx/album/view/24733054
The car is located in Englewood, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.
