Seller's comments about 1958' Chevrolet Apache Task Force

The vehicle was newly built from ground up in 2018. 1,200 hours of work where spent.
The basis was a 1958 Californian Longbed Bigwindow (rare) fleetside pickup
Only the outer shell remained of the old vehicle, which was shortened, if you will, to a "midbed",
to be more stylish than the original short- and longbed versions and to be able to transport most motorcycles with the tail gate closed.
The frame, the chassis, everything was specially made for this purpose.
Everything is new on the truck, all glasses, seals, frame, chrome parts etc., just the body was reused to get the special look.
The semi-matt clear coat in severall layers on the original body (bare metal) looks and feels like velvet.
The engine consists of an LS3 with 6-speed automatic transmission (L99) from a 2010 Gen5 Camaro with less than 59K miles
and was expanded to 530hp with a sharp camshaft and programming (measured on the test bench)
The sound of the V8 is breathtaking. The car has a specially made sidepipe system with a remote controlled flap exhaust.
The car has tires VA 245/30R20 RA 305/25R20
rare and 20 inch Detroit steel wheels. HA 11" VA 8.5"
The car is lowered and has adjustable gas pressure damper all around (no airride). The whitewall rings (1.5cm) are specially vulcanized onto the low-profile tires. The car has a registered fold-out trailer hitch. The instruments are digital and can be switched from kilometers to miles.
The gas-tank has a pop-up filler cap like on some Harleys. A Kenwwood HiFi charger with subwoofer was installed in the car.
The control takes place via Bluetooth and the cell phone. The car switches to the rear view camera when you put the car in reverse gear. Inside, the entire interior is kustomized in brown genuine leather by the upholsterer. All information is provided without warranty. All information refers to the fictitious year of construction 2018 and the first registration in Germany. Upon request, dozens of pictures of the vehicle's construction can also be provided.
