1960' Austin-Healey Sprite

This vehicle was first registered on the 15th July 1960 and underwent a complete restoration in 2018 with numerous upgrades transforming it into the wonderful little car it is today. The engine is a 1380 "A" series, lightened and balanced, Omega forged pistons, 11 stud cooper S big valve cylinder head, 1 1/ 2 SU carburetors, manifow manifold with a 3J driveline plate 45/ 65 differential. The exhaust is a maniflow system with jetex stainless steel silencer. It has an ‘A’ series gearbox as well as a new braided wiring loom, new old style dynamo with original rev counter drive to allow for the original frogeye instruments. Front suspension is the frontline developments telescopic conversion with Peter May competition antiroll bar making the car very stable and surefooted. Standard back axle rebuilt with Peter May rose jointed panhard rod while the original type master cylinder was re-sleaved in stainless steel to allow for the change from drum brakes to disc brakes at the front. New complete floors including boot floor. New inner and outer sills.
