Seller's comments about 1968' Bristol 411

We are delighted of offer this stunning Bristol 410 onto the market. With production numbers well under 100, the 410 is an incredibly desirable model and for many Bristol aficionados it has become the V8 of choice with its early style dashboard and interior, the 318 V8 engine and the distinctive bodywork with fabulous lines and rear tail fins.
TYF 447F has in recent years been subject of a detailed restoration and a comprehensive photographic record has documented this. The body was fully stripped down and rebuilt, beautifully re-painted with all windows out, re-fitted with various new brightwork, new tyres, new rubbers and trims and beautifully re-trimmed.
Mechanically the Bristol was restored as required, the engine was stripped down and subject of a major rebuild to include new crankshaft, high spec solid cam, new camshaft bearings, new pistons, new piston rings, new big end and little end bearings, new high specification oil pump and ported head with new cylinder head valve seats, exhaust guides and cylinder head valves ground and lapped. A new Edelbrock 600cfm carburettor was supplied and fitted, the cooling system upgraded with a larger water pump and rebuilt fans, wiring upgraded as required and the braking system re-conditioned as required including upgraded new servo's.
On the road the Bristol is a delight, the engine has outstanding performance and with the benefit of the Edelbrock carburettor has improved starting, economy and performance. The Bristol also has a wider rear axle upgrade for improved handling, brakes are also upgraded so not only is this 410 incredibly useable, it drives significantly better than a standard Bristol 410. This is a beautiful looking car that has had significant recent expense ensuring it proves and enjoyable experience for its next owner. Receipts since restoration total over £5, 000 for upkeep and maintenance, and having supplied this Bristol to the last two owners, it's a car we know very well.
