1927' Buick 27/27

Lovely 1927 Buick model 27/ 27 Rare car even in America but as Buick spares available to keep her on the road.
Large Imposing tall 6 feet high sedan ideal for the occasional wedding due to the amount of passenger space and rear door opening position.
Ohv (overhead valve) original engine . Extremely powerful and would keep up with modern traffic no problem. These big yanks were built for long runs. Totally different ball game from our uk equivalents. Buick were way ahead of there time most vehicle were running dated side valves. Ohv engines are much easier to work on.
3. 2 litre 3 speed manual floor change.
I am a Buick enthusiast and have too many cars and realistically not enough time. Job and family changes this year have made me realise and begrudgingly accept this. The days of me tinkering for entire weekends have slipped away. I am a qualified mechanic with 30 years of experience mainly working on early cars.
This was purchased to wait until I was ready to recommission this summer but I have now decided to sell some of my cars. Mainly to create space and secondly to create a practical amount of cars to look after of which there are many
Complete car was on the road recently. Last ran approx 18 months ago and then just sat in garage.
Perfect panel fit , timber frame no rot etc. no wavey panels etc.
Restored approx 10 years ago. White paint perfect. Black original and patina but perfectly serviceable. Car was originally dark blue and black I would return.
Previous experienced owner and friend converted to down draft carb a common mod on this era of car. I would return to original. (All parts here)
Fully retrimmed correct colour interior.
Nickle and chrome excellent.
Absolutely not a barn find. Just needs a light cuddle.
Round my in laws as I’m out of space.
If like minded buyer cannot be found then I’ll have to find some time to recommission but this will effect the value as you can appreciate.

This era of Buick is a fine quality car. Far far surpassing ford and Chevy etc of same era.
Have original bill of sale to first buyer from Buick dealer. Which is a great doc to have. Manuals and other paperwork too.
Genuinely regret selling but I just cannot own and correctly look after this many cars.
