- From long-standing family ownership - 2nd owner - Extensively restored - FIVA passport Description:
In 1953 the Belair became Chevrolet's own series with the serial number 2400C. At the time of its release, the Bel Air represented Chevrolet's top model. There were three and five-door station wagon versions, with the three-door being called the Nomand and the five-door being the Townsman. There was also a convertible, a sedan and a coupe variant.
The Belair offered here was produced in 1955 in Chevrolet's Belgian factory and delivered to a Luxembourg wine merchant. The Chevrolet was inherited within the family and taken over by one of the sons at the end of the 1990s. Despite its still very good condition, he had the Belair extensively restored in order to meticulously document each trip up to the current mileage of 130,000. The restoration costs exceeded the purchase price called here. This unusual and rare vehicle with FIVA passport and historic license plate is ideal as an advertising medium for companies and events due to its friendly appearance and spacious interior.
Engine:
6-cylinder in-line engine, 3895ccm, 120 hp (89kw), manual gearbox (according to factory specifications)
