PTTM COMPLETELY UPGRADED, CAMARO COPO TRIBUTE.
Experience Unmatched Power and Style with the Camaro COPO
Looking for a car that can eat a Porsche for breakfast? This Camaro COPO is your answer. With its lightning-fast engine and drivetrain setup, this is more than just a car—it's a statement.
HISTORY
The Camaro COPO (Central Office Production Order) is a legendary line of high-performance Camaros created by Chevrolet, initially introduced in the 1960s. Built specifically for drag racing, these cars were not available through regular dealerships. Instead, they were special-ordered directly from Chevrolet’s central office, making them rare and highly coveted by enthusiasts.
THE CAR
This stunning Camaro has undergone extensive restoration, ensuring it is as solid as the day it rolled off the factory floor. The rear sheet metal has been replaced, addressing the common weak spot in these muscle cars—the trunk. With a completely new trunk floor and flawless bodywork, this Camaro is now ready for anything.
The car's fresh Le-Mans blue metallic paint is smooth, glossy, and evenly applied, complemented by a polished clear coat. The no-frills approach means it skips the spoilers and extra trim but retains the functional cowl induction hood. Every detail has been meticulously attended to: new grille, bumper, emblems, lenses, marker lights, door handles, mirrors, and even the correct antenna. The stainless steel trim around the windows, new taillights, bumper, and emblems all contribute to its authentic look. It proudly wears a Berger emblem, symbolizing high-performance heritage, and sits on correct XT steel wheels worth $1, 000, paired with reproduction Goodyear Polyglass tires for that true vintage appearance. All the glass is new, and the door jambs are painted slick, with new weatherstrips and window seals completing the exterior restoration.
INTERIOR
Step inside, and you'll find an interior that has been completely redone from carpet to headliner. The striking white upholstery contrasts beautifully with the blue exterior. The door panels, armrests, and upholstery are all new, with fresh carpet and carpeted floor mats underfoot. The new headliner fits tight, and even the dome lights, visors, and mirrors are brand new. It comes with a complete set of GM seatbelts for added safety.
The dash area is immaculate, featuring a new dash pad, heater control panel, and a factory AM radio. The instrument cluster includes a 140-mph speedometer and an 8, 000 RPM tachometer with a rare centrally located fuel gauge. A new deluxe three-spoke steering wheel, ashtray, and matching lighter enhance the interior’s classic feel. The glove box liner is new, with a working light and an original owner’s manual. A new gauge cluster is neatly mounted below the dash for added functionality.
DRIVETRAIN
Under the hood, this Camaro is a beast. Although it looks factory-original, it's been upgraded to a 454 engine bored 30 over to make it a 461. The engine features 427 heads with a roller cam and rockers, correct square port heads, and a matched GM aluminum intake. The cowl induction system is fully functional, including the flapper door in the hood. The engine bay is meticulously detailed, with correct deep-groove pulleys, dated plug wires, a 4-core radiator with a curved neck, reproduction hoses and clamps, and a Delco battery topper with spring clamp cables. The Turbo 400 automatic transmission has been rebuilt, featuring a 3, 500 stall converter and a reverse manual valve body. The drivetrain is finished with a rebuilt 12-bolt posi rear end with 4. 11 gears and an aluminum cover.
UNDERSIDE
The suspension and steering components have been entirely rebuilt, with careful attention to detail, including assembly line paint markings. The braking system has been upgraded with front disc brakes, and the e-brake assembly is fully operational. The fuel system is brand new, including the tank, straps, sending unit, and lines. The dual exhaust system features Flowmaster mufflers for that classic muscle car sound.
