The car was rebuilt frame off in 2014 and published as an Orange Twist in the American magazine "HotRodMagazine". A copy of the magazine is available.

The New England company did the rebuilding. More about this here:

The body has really been processed tip-top. There is no rust or fumbling here, as is often the case with Americans. The paintwork is absolutely top level and the paintwork is also very exclusive. The orange has a slight mother of pearl effect. Comparable to the orange Focus ST a few years ago.
The white parts are also not just white but rather mother-of-pearl.
The paint was mixed by "House of Kolor", a company that specializes in exclusive paint jobs or paints in the States.

The car runs absolutely reliably.
The engine was completely rebuilt. It's a 5.7 V8 small block with alloy heads, headers and a Holley Street Avenger 670 carburetor. A power steering, a brake booster and an air conditioning system from Vintage Air were installed.
The automatic is a completely redesigned 200-4R from GM.

I've done different things over the years.
The original tank has disappeared from the driver's cabin ... and a new tank has migrated under the loading area.
In the course of the tank conversion, the exhaust system also had to be relocated. It now ends laterally in front of the rear wheel.
I installed a Bluetooth connection for the built-in radio and installed a USB socket in the glove compartment.
The entire cabin was insulated by me, so that longer journeys do not end in sudden hearing loss.
I installed a stronger cooling fan and a new windshield was installed in 2021.

The car has TÜV is registered and can be inspected, heard and driven by appointment, with me in Cologne (Germany) or at an agreed meeting point. There is also a Classic Data appraisal and of course all other papers.
