Seller's comments about 1974' Citroen DS

Meet Aurelie!
Aurelie (AUR557M) is a beautiful, incredibly rare right hand drive Citroen DS Super, originally built for the New Zealand market in 1974 and first registered in New Zealand in 1976.
She has two previous owners on the UK log book, and 8 in New Zealand.
She’s got the most history of any car I have ever owned. Here are all her former owners she has ever had- from all the paperwork I have:
14. 05. 1974 Original Registration Number in New Zealand: BJN 945
14. 05. 1976 - Bought by , Tauranga, NZ - Odometer: 38587km
20. 05. 1977 - Bought by, Manaia Nu, NZ - 45310km
21. 06. 1993 - Bought by , Auckland, NZ - 22150km
1. 3. 1996 - Bought by , Auckland, NZ - 37, 890km
25. 06. 2003 - Bought , NZ - 53, 232km
22. 03. 2004 - Imported from New Zealand (I have all shipping documents) by , Belgium,
05. 06. 2004 - Imported to the UK by Harpenden, UK, 54, 934km
10. 05. 2022 - Bought by , London
Engine No:
VIN / Chassis: 7A8350C
I bought this car from renowned DS expert and mechanic Stuart at Brodie Engineering, for use in a TV programme we were making at my television production company
Brodie Engineering had looked after Aurelie for 25 years, servicing her every year. Before filming I treated her to a no expenses spared full bare metal respray in a professional bodyshop (completed Autumn ’23) and her bodywork is completely 100% rust free.
I didn't have to do this work - she ran perfectly as was- I just love the Citroen DS so it became a passion project of mine.
Since then she has been dry stored in an underground car park at great expense.
She is painted in Bleu D’Orient (AC 616), with a Gris Nacre (AC095) roof, with Gris Rose (AC136) wheel rims, which I think is the most attractive colour combination for a DS.
It is very rare indeed to find a right hand drive DS with such complete history, and her blue exterior is perfectly complemented by her original and very rare interior trim unique to the New Zealand market.
She is amazing on long journeys and cruises happily at 70mph.
Due to the new classic car government regulations, she no longer needed an MOT, but her last one was in 2019, and as an historic vehicle, she is also exempt from vehicle tax.
The paintwork has just been done so the bodywork is in immaculate condition - completely spotless everywhere. You can see your face in her beautiful finish.
Mechanically no expense has been spared on the upkeep of this car. The engine purrs, starts first time every time and feels like you are driving a finely tuned, highly refined classic.
I love sitting in the driver seat, waiting for the hydraulics to lift you into the air, then gliding off, not having to worry about bumps in the road (it feels like you're driving on a cloud) and watching people wave (some even clap). She is an absolute dream to drive.
Here is her full MOT history and mileage history:
