PROFESSIONALLY BUILT – FULLY CUSTOMIZED . . . . 1956 FORD F100 PICK UP ….. Pain staking attention to quality is obvious in this completely customized 1956 Ford F100. Built by Ron Heath of California, this beautiful truck is beyond any shadow of a doubt, a true one of a kind vehicle. A complete frame off build includes redesign and lowering of the cab cowl to allow the full curved factory windshield even with a chopped top. The bed of the truck is a Studebaker truck box, redesigned and altered to match the truck along with frenched LED tail lights and exhaust outlets. The cover is fabric covered. Under that cover is a fully upholstered box lining with “F100” embellished in the cover. A leather covered fuel cell is under the cover. The cab roof was removed and replaced with a tubular steel framed removable top. The top is fully covered and upholstered on the interior. The doors have been altered to suicide design with shaved exterior handles. The door windows have been removed to accommodate the removable top. The interior is fully customized utilizing the factory look of the dashboard area. Instrumentation is provided by Auto Meter Gauges. The dash has been fabricated to flow into a center console. A factory look alike heater is on the passenger side. The seats are leather covered, and power on the driver side. A stock vintage steering column includes tilt wheel and column mounted shifter. The steering wheel is leather wrapped aluminum. The truck is named Wild Fire, and is stitched into the rear cab upholstery. It rides on a lowered suspension and alloy wheels. It stops with front disc and rear drum brakes. Power is provided by a 331 CID Chrysler Hemi with tri-power Holley Carburation on a high rise polished intake manifold. Exhaust flows through headers. Interior engine modifications are unknown, and the engine runs smooth with great street drivability. The automatic transmission is a Turbo 400. The final gears are believed to be 3:01 ratio. With an engine chrome kit including Mickey Thompson valve covers this is a very impressive set up. Cooling is provided by an aluminum radiator and electric cooling fan. The paint finish is a very high quality clear coat red paint and is in virtually perfect condition.
