1966 Jaguar Etype S1 2 + 2.

Encased in 2018-2020, leaving the maximum amount of original parts and a patina.

Jaguar Heritage certification confirms all chassis and engine numbers.

Original color combination - iridescent dark green (very rare original color) with Suede Green interior.

Automatic Transmission.

Manufactured on August 29, 1966 (one of only 650 built that year) and delivered to Henleys of London (Dealer Jaguar) who sold this car to a private US importer who had owned it for many years. The car was disassembled to bare metal, completely rebuilt in 2018-2020. The car was used several times with no more than 200 km from the "news".

This classic Jaguar wears a stunning color combination of the extremely rare original Opalescent Dark Green color with a Suede Green interior. The paintwork perfectly emphasizes the car's curves and its charm. The thick binder is full of textures and photos showing the true attention to detail made to remodel this E-Type. The end result is truly remarkable, the body and chassis are finished in an iridescent dark green which has a beautiful shine and harmonizes perfectly with the shiny chrome.

The interior - suede green is very nice and has some patina in the details. The armchairs are restored in a magnificent special leather (originally it was artificial during production). The steering with wooden steering wheel is original and in nice condition. Includes spare wheel, jack and tool kit, copper hammer.

The first major upgrade to the Jaguar's sensational E-Type sports car took place in October 1964 with the launch of the 4.2-liter version, which featured a fully synchromic gearbox and many other improvements, as well as a larger, better engine. The E-Type's top speed of around 240 km / h remained unchanged, and the main increase in performance due to the larger engine was better acceleration. Like its 3.8-liter forbear, the 4.2-liter E-Type was built in roadster and coupé forms, and in 1966 it was joined by an additional "family-friendly" 2 + 2 coupé variant on the longer wheelbase. With the increase in length 2 + 2 and additional rear seats, there is more headroom, more luggage space, better heating / ventilation and an optional automatic transmission.
