We noted a slight dent in the front crossmember.Usage reserve: as a matter of principle, we cannot guarantee the alignment beyond their good visual and functional condition as validated during the road test and on the lift.During the dynamic test, we did not notice any abnormal incidental noises from the body or running gear (ball joints, bushes, etc.).Braking is balanced, stable and confident, with no vibrations or abnormal noises. The brake discs show 10% wear at both front and rear. The front and rear brake pads show 30% wear.Passing the technical inspection will validate correct operation of the whole system.Engine / Transmission:This example is fitted with its original engine (“Matching Number”).The mechanicals are working perfectly. The engine compression test and the road test carried out by our workshop confirm that the 6-cylinder engine is in excellent health. It starts immediately, with no suspicious noises or smoke, and the idle is stable, as confirmed by the 360° video with the engine running, available at the beginning of the slideshow. On the move, the engine pulls cleanly through the rev range without hesitation or overheating.Idle is stable and the engine does not run hot.The oil pressure reading taken cold by our workshop is 40 Lbs at 600 rpm.Engine start-up is made easier thanks to the installation of electronic ignition.Engine performance and sound are improved by fitting 3 SU carburettors and an inox exhaust system after the manifolds. All 4 gears of the manual gearbox engage smoothly up and down without snagging, particularly at the synchromesh.Clutch feel is good. This example is fitted with a battery cut-off switch. As is often the case with older mechanicals, the engine/ gearbox sealing remains average.
