Rare, almost complete and mostly original:
As well as a great paint job, this car hasn't had a major "one off" restoration but has had thousands spent on it over the years with many replacement parts, expertly supplied/ fitted i. e. reconditioned gearbox, panels, suspension, brakes and procedures such as engine rebuild (with most bills to prove it).....
How many other rust free, largely complete/ original Mk 1's are out there and how many are for sale??
This car has been in my possession since 2005 and roadworthy all this time, just passed its MOT (even though, legally, it doesn't require one) and has ~90k miles on the clock. It starts and runs great with loads of acceleration and torque.
Why buy a Jensen that needs >£100K spending on it, wait a (stressful) year or more for work to be done and get a load of after market products installed to replace the original (or previously replaced) parts when you can purchase this rust free, almost original/ complete car and be driving it the next day?? The car is almost 100% complete with extra, original "add ons" which in themselves are rare. It has all manuals including handbook, fire extinguisher, cotton reel headrests, medical kit, jack, and tool kit (just a couple of screwdrivers missing) and car build history from Robey's.... how many other Mk1's have these?? Loads of other extras included i. e. 8 track and tapes, trophies, original steering wheel... etc. All the interior is completely original (except for the front carpets - I still have the original ones...) so seats, door cards, dash, roof lining are all as the car was built ~52 years ago. Do you want to own an iconic car???
