MGB mk1 1967 (23/ 03/ 67)
- owned by myself 9 years, previous owner 35 years
- Nut and bolt restoration to concourse standard, early/ mid 1990s by previous owner. No expense spared.
- using a new British Motor Heritage shell from Brown and Gammons
- has covered just 7, 726 miles since restoration, all dry summer miles guaranteed by previous owner and myself.
- new Gold Seal Engine mid 80s which had covered just 4000 miles at restoration. There is period written evidence (stamped by MGOC) to support this in the history file). So, total miles covered by engine is 11, 726
- strong responsive engine which cruises at 60/ 70 lbs pressure
- fully working overdrive
- excellent almost new condition chrome wire wheels
- piped leather seats, Moto-Lita steering wheel, MGOC sports stainless steel exhaust
- flawless and beautiful mkl dashboard
- new condition mohair hood and easy fold frame (not the old poles)
- full tonneau cover piped to match interior
- light engine upgrade at point of restoration inc. Oselli fast road cam, lightened and balanced crankshaft/ flywheel by Scholar Engineering, balanced conrods and pistons, ported and polished to match new exhaust manifold
- Ron Hopkins anti roll bar kit installed
- standard brakes with Goodridge stainless steel braided hoses
- painted in original MG Tartan Red
