It’s not every day you see a Morgan, it’s even rarer that a 1961 Plus 4 comes on sale!This car has an amazing story to tell, I could bore you by telling you that it’s been fully restored with no expense spared and that under neither the bonnet, that has an air scoop for better cooling and breathing, is a 2. 2 litre Triumph TR 4 engine that has been lightened and balanced which means its a freer revving engine. I could tell you that the suspension has been upgraded to the SSL front kit so adjustable front dampers with hardened kingpins and the rear has the SSL 5 link adaptation. I could bang on about the Terry Foxen zero camber chassis, super sports style body, making it look like the legend that is TOK 258. Another worthy mention should go to the upgraded 5 speed rather than 4 speed gear box, gone is the Moss box and it’s been replaced with the reliable, user friendly type 9 Ford.But this car isn’t about the £1000’s that have been spent, it’s about the drive!!
