Here is an ultra rare 1968 Porsche 911S Targa, model for the European market, 235th of 442 S models produced in the Targa body.
The car was restored over 10 years ago by Piotr Bem, a Warsaw specialist in Porsche 356 and 911 until 1973. The car has traveled 2,200 km since then and still looks very fresh! The quality of the renovation can be felt when the doors and all flaps close. The paint is flawless and the engine runs very well. Full documentation of the reconstruction is available for viewing. The car has a Porsche certificate, which confirms, among others, matching engine number and color.
It is worth mentioning that Piotr Bem restored, among others, Dino 246 GTS, which during the February RM Sotheby's auction in Paris reached a record high amount of EUR 635,000, making it the most expensive - in history - Dino (in the version without widenings) sold at auction! And on Polish registrations!
Our 911S is equipped with houndstooth lights, Hella halogens, Blaupunkt radio and all the attributes of the "S" version, i.e.: stabilizers, stronger brakes and a 2-liter, 6-cylinder engine with two triple carburetors with a power of 160 HP instead of the "lightened" 110 HP in 911T model.
The price seems to be very attractive considering all this and the fact that the cheapest 911S models available on the market, in similar condition, cost much more. The Porsche is registered in Poland as a historic vehicle.
