Seller's comments about 1980' Porsche 911

All of our vehicles are rigorously checked before being put up for sale: more than 70 inspection points are verified (mechanics, chassis, bodywork, interior and accessories) + a full road test carried out by our workshop manager. Each vehicle also benefits from an engine compression check and/ or a cold oil-pressure check (depending on the technical possibilities). Our vehicles are prepared in our specialist workshop for classic cars, sports cars and prestige vehicles.Ref: 103696Date first registered:01/ 01/ 1980Mileage (not guaranteed): 62754Drive: left-handRegistration: CollectionNumber of seats: 4Number of cylinders: 6 flat (boxer)Displacement: 2994 ccFuel: SP 98DIN bhp: 180Tax bhp: 16Gearbox: Manual 5-speedBody colour: Schwartz Metallic A2Interior colour: Doric Grau with Rot pipingTyres: Front wear 20% + rear wear 30%* 12-MONTH WARRANTY included* Delivery possible* Road-legalisation fees (optional): €690 incl. 911 3. 0L SC Weissach in its original “Schwartz Metallic A2” paint colour (matching colour). It is today in perfect show condition. After a professional orbital polish carried out by our workshop, we noted a slight paint chip on the edge of the driver’s door. This Weissach example is equipped with the front spoiler, the “Turbo” rear spoiler and the electrically operated passenger mirror. The driver’s mirror is adjustable manually. The bumpers are perfectly aligned, as are the PVC overriders. This example is equipped with a sought-after option: the electric sunroof (original option 650).The original FUCHS 15" wheels with polished offsets are in very good condition, with no signs of knocks, rubbing or distortion. The PRELLI P6000 tyres show 20% wear at the front and 30% at the rear. This example has kept its original “space saver” spare wheel as well as its original jack and tool kit.Among the interesting equipment and options in the “Bodywork / Exterior” category that this example is fitted with, we note:The 4 Fuchs-type 15" wheels with polished offsets, front fog lights, the front spoiler and “Turbo” rear spoiler, as well as the electric sunroof.Cabin:The interior has retained its original configuration and appears in perfect presentation condition. This example is equipped with the “sport seats” option. The “Doric Grau” leather upholstery with “Rot” piping is in good original condition and shows consistent use patina on the driver’s seat, as well as fine hairline cracks. The “Doric Grau” leather door panels are in excellent condition. The dashboard and its “Doric Grau” dashboard top are also in excellent condition. The complete set of original VDO gauges has been retained and works perfectly, clock included.Only the cruise control and the air conditioning are not functional. The original PORSCHE 3-spoke steering wheel in “Schwarz” leather is in excellent condition. The bakelite gear knob shows slight signs of use.The micro-perforated leatherette headlining in “Schwarz” is in good condition despite a few tensions around the sunroof opening. The original electric windows work perfectly, as does the BLAUPUNKT Bremen radio and its electric antenna. The original “Rot Bourgogne” carpets are in excellent condition.Among the interesting equipment and options in the “Cabin” category that this example is fitted with, we note:The “Doric Grau” leather with “Rot” piping, the sport seats and the BLAUPUNKT Bremen radio.Chassis:With the car up on the ramp, we can confirm an excellent body condition, with no visible accident marks and no apparent structural corrosion. The key areas: floors, spare wheel well, long members, sills and wheel arches are in very good condition.Useable reserve: as a matter of principle, we cannot guarantee that alignments are perfect beyond their good visual and functional condition, validated during the road test and on the ramp.During the dynamic test, we found no abnormal noises coming from the body or running gear (joints, bushes, etc.).The braking is aligned and its effectiveness remains as per the original specification. The front brake discs show 10% wear and the pads 5%.The rear brake discs show 5% wear and the pads 5%.The technical inspection carried out by our workshop upstream of delivery will confirm that everything is working correctly.Engine / Transmission:The original mechanicals work perfectly (“matching numbers” / PORSCHE France certificate). The Flat 6 starts on the quarter-turn and the idle is stable, as confirmed by the 360° video shot with the engine running, available at the start of the slideshow. The engine compression readings and the road test carried out by our workshop confirm a Flat 6 in excellent health.Cold oil pressure is 2 bar at 800 rpm.Under driving, the engine pulls cleanly without hesitation or overheating. The original 915-type gearbox (“matching numbers” / PORSCHE France certificate) engages all 5 gears perfectly, with no issues with the synchros. This example is equipped with a self-locking differential.Clutch grip is good.As is often the case with these models, engine/ gearbox/ differential sealing remains average.Other similar vehicles are also available. 50 photos + engine running video on CLASSIC-A
