In 1965, after the end of production of the Porsche 356, the German manufacturer introduced a cheaper sports car alternative to the flagship, six-cylinder Porsche 911, with a price similar to its predecessor. It was a Porsche 912. Equipped with an engine similar to that used in the 356SC and with a power of 90 horses, this model quickly became a success, selling better than its bigger brother 911. Total production of the Porsche 912 until its end in 1969 represented over 32,000 pieces. The 912 with serial number 454890 is a highly sought-after short wheelbase version from the second year of production. It left the Karmann factory in 1966 and was originally intended for the American market. Imported to Poland in 2013, it underwent a comprehensive renovation - bodywork and painting, but not only that. The second layer of paint was applied to the car, but considering the fantastic condition of the bodywork, only minimal sheet metal intervention in some of the opening elements was necessary. The interior was replaced with a new one, and its color changed from the original black to a much more attractive beige. The engine has also undergone a comprehensive overhaul and is regularly serviced. All components work, including the factory radio. Currently, the 912 looks phenomenal and is ready for the summer season. Available to watch at Stacja Classici in Łomianki or Konstancin
