This car has received a body off detailed and comprehensive restoration taking over five years and has covered less than 3000 miles since the rebuild.
No expense has been spared and I have a photographic record of all the work.
I am a retired engineer and although doing most of the work I employed specialists for many of the highly skilled operations.
For example the engine white metal bearings and line boring were all carried out by Graham Walker of Speyer and Walker to a very high standard as he specialised in Rolls Royce engines.
A new genuine old stock cylinder block was sourced due to a crack in the old one and fitted with new Hepolite Pistons.
A brand new Richard Shaw / Fiennes engineering cylinder head was fitted .
Engine parts and ancillary components costs were in excess of £20, 000.
Total cooling system overhaul including thermostat modification.
Also Fiennes engineering full flow oil filter conversion.

The chassis was stripped to the bare rails and spray painted in two pack black.
The gearbox overhauled with specialist help from David Else including a modification to prevent oil loss from the front main shaft bearing. (Inherent RR 20 problem.)
Front axle overhauled with new genuine king pins and bushes plus all brake shaft components at great expense.
Rear axle overhaul however the basic wearing parts were in excellent condition.
All new brakes and wheel bearings fitted.
The fuel tank was totally rebuilt with all new lead covered sheet and rivetted by an aircraft specialist engineer costing two thousand pounds.
Being a late 20 hp she has a chassis lubrication system and this was totally overhauled with all new drip plugs of the correct type
She sits on 21" wire wheels and has just been fitted with five new Longstone Dunlop Tyres with heavy duty Michelin Tubes.
All steering linkage wearing parts replaced using specialist suppliers mainly Fiennes engineering and Ristes.
Complete Stainless exhaust system by Lonsdales. Life time warranty.
Instruments rebuilt as required.
Starter motor , Dynamo and Magneto re built.
Complete re wire incorporating indicators and brake lights all in cotton correct grade RR wire from Auto sparks.
All nickel plating re done.
The body and four mudguards all stripped to bare aluminium and re painted in modern bodyshop.
The wooden ash frame of the body was found to be as new.
This car from new was fitted with a Fabric saloon by Connaught when supplied to Lt. Col Sir Alan Sykes.
Fabric saloon bodies did not last very long and the car was fitted with a handsome tourer body in the style of Barker in the 1980s .

I have all the RR build sheets and history for this car.
She has been admired at many RREC events and won many cups and trophies including car of the show at Chatsworth country fair.

For sale only due to us having too many cars and projects.
I am very much an enthusiast so please do not hesitate to call for a chat.
I have owned this car since 2003.
