Beetle convertible, model 1303, 1977. Engine with a capacity of 1.6L, electronic injection. The engine has been completely rebuilt - it has a new interior: pistons, cylinders, rings (Mahle), bearings (Kolbenschmidt). The block and head have been checked (nominal dimensions). Electronic ignition and an additional external oil filter were added. The gearbox was disassembled and thoroughly inspected. After sheet metal renovation, the floor, fenders, and sills were hot-dip galvanized and then painted with epoxy and polyurethane paints. The body and its elements were sandblasted, then rebuilt and sandblasted again. The whole thing was later protected against corrosion, covered with epoxy varnishes and topcoats. The car left the factory in Osnabrueck, Germany on September 22, 1977 and was sent to the country of destination, i.e. the United States. Valve control via a camshaft located in the engine body, driven by a double-row roller chain, two valves per cylinder .Electric start, engine designation OHV. The steering system and the original steering wheel are functional, with no noticeable play or malfunctions. Michelin tires, size 175 R 15 88H, are mounted on all four wheels - in very good technical condition. In the trunk compartment there is a spare wheel, the original wheel jack and factory tools. The interior is complete, well-kept, all gauges and clocks are working (1978). Original upholstery covers made of plastic, complete and in very good technical condition.
