Seller's comments about 1957' Chevrolet 150

The 1957 Chevrolet 150 is meant to be a great cruising classic. So while you have a true two-tone classic style, there are also more modern upgrades like air conditioning, an overdrive transmission, a Bluetooth stereo, and proper V8 power. So dig into the details on a car with legendary style and modern appeal. The paint sets the character for the whole car. After all, the two-tone Tri-Five Chevys are true classics. But this one is uniquely done in India Ivory (a 1950s color) and Hugger Orange (a muscle car era legend). So its subtly telling you this is an updated classic and youre going to enjoy driving it. The Rally wheels, polished dual exhaust tips, and crystal clear headlights also add to this sporty upgraded attitude. But more than performance, make sure you take some time to look at how it gets the fundamentals correct. All the lines are clean, the doors close with authority, the glass is clear, and the weather stripping is pliable. The iconic front end continues to have a big shine on the bumper/grille combo you know so well. And we love how the 150 models trim dividing the two-tone is taken from the 55 Bel Air. So it makes for quite a distinct style. The interior was redone with an eye for being clean and comfortable. Two wide rows of bench seats have a classic look, but now they have the advantage of comfy fabric inserts for where you sit. The two-tone beige and tan are repeated on the door panels, and even the floor mats were done to coordinate. Its a thoughtful presentation right down to details, like the working dome light and clock. You have the right comfort upgrades, like a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with Bluetooth, cup holders, and cold-blowing air conditioning. But this was also made to give you a proper cruiser feeling. Thats why you have been upgraded with a Lecarra steering wheel, a tilt steering column, auxiliary readouts, a B&M floor shifter, and a very cool tach on the A-pillar. The engine bay has the clean and sturdy look of a proper investment. And you can really tell the 350 cubic-inch V8 heart at the center has been upgraded for serious power. It has a beefy look with the Black Chevy valve covers and a matching air grabber. And the hoses, belts, and wires look tidy. As you dig deeper, youll spot performance enhancements like an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock performer Intake, an Accel SuperCoil distributor, and headers feeding a throaty dual exhaust. The motor fires up readily like a car that wants to hit the road. And thats easy to do thanks to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission with highway-friendly overdrive. Theres also power steering, power brakes, front discs, and rear traction bars. This is a true custom creation that likes to make the classic Tri-Five a great Chevy to cruise on todays roads.
