Ford Mustang 1967 289 C4 Convertible. I bought the car in 2019 from a private person in the USA and imported it to Poland for myself. The car was purchased complete, with original paint, engine, gearbox and interior. Original markings. The Mustang, of course, required a comprehensive renovation, which I carried out in 2019-2021, they build the car themselves. The car was dismantled and sandblasted. A company specializing in rebuilding Mustangs replaced the cladding elements with Dynacorn sheets I imported and a new floor. The car was protected with epoxy and painted dark moss green, matching the original and ID tag. The front suspension was installed new, consistent with the original but with improved driving parameters (thicker stabilizer bar, harder shock absorbers, improved wishbones) - thanks to this, the car drives very well. The steering system was regenerated, based on original elements such as the gearbox and power steering. The car received new brakes, front discs and rear drums. New cables were installed and I managed to get the original Bendix brake servo (the original car had no brake booster, only drums). Shaft regenerated and balanced. Rear axle and springs checked, regenerated and painted. New fuel system. Even though the engine started, it was dismantled and rebuilt. The grinding was done on Krasnobrodzka Street along with the balancing. The heads were original, only regenerated. Camshaft with improved parameters, but close to the original. Carburetor - original after regeneration by a specialist in Puszczykowo. Gearbox disassembled, cleaned, new seals and clutches. The exhaust system is made entirely of stainless steel (it is quite quiet). New water pump and radiator, consistent with the original. Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the original (the car was overheating). Currently, there are no problems with heating, even in hot traffic. The interior has been rebuilt. Seats – sandblasted and powder-coated, new dedicated sponges and covers – consistent with the color of the original. New carpet. Heater – original, refreshed. New sides. Clocks and dashboard - original, just needed to be washed
