Age: 72 years

Looking for an interesting and simple enough winter project?
Cars are not much more simple than this and there is nothing on it that cannot be restored, surely you will never find one this age and this original?

A bonus comes with it too, while the front wings are restorable, there are a pair of NOS items with it and the original Leather seats were restored over 50 years ago, and are mint. Stored in plastic bags until today.

The only rust is at the bottom front of the tub, where it folds for fixing, There are no expensive parts to buy, what is there goes again, you will probably change the front wings, simply because you have them, there are even 4 nos tyres that will make it look the part for showing, but maybe to old for regular use.

The hood is not perfect, but I would say the original and together more than enough to use as a pattern.

Engine turns fine on the original starting handle, is complete and looks very original to me, the correct later Standard engine, with a Morgan rocker cover, the Moss gearbox goes into gear fine, Dashboard all complete too.

At 72 years old and stored for 53 years and being so original, complete and rot free, it really deserves a concourse restoration, but with a mechanical/ electrical overhaul and some minor work, honestly, I think you could use it just as it is. Morgan owners do not need a hood.

9 owners, all recorded on the buff RF60, except the last who was issued a new one, as it was full up, but has mislaid it.
First registered to a Taunton, Somerset address, on a Bristol area suffix, it made its way through, Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex and East London.

The only paperwork is the RF60, an mot from 1967 and the last tax disc expiring in 1968, it is not on Dvla, but its history is documented on the RF60, ownership wise, and the trail makes sense for pre internet days.

The only parts missing are a Headlight glass, the gear knob, regulator cover and transmission tunnel, door latches, wiper blades and a keys.
There are hubcaps that fit, but I suspect the M is for Morris, not Morgan.
